The Brownsville Bike Bus is a youth-centered initiative, led by East Brooklyn Bike Club and the Brownsville Health Action Center, to help connect Open Streets locations and the many schools within its two-mile route in Brownsville.

It’s next 2026 season dates will be listed once these are announced.

The Brownsville Bike Bus starts at 76 Riverdale Avenue (corner of Strauss) at 7:15AM, where two of the open street's locations, Riverdale Avenue Community School (RACS) and Brownsville Collaborative Middle School (BCMS), which are two of our main participating public schools. The bike bus will follow the route to connect to PS 298 and IS 363. The bike bus will return to RACS by 8:15AM.
